Message from the POM 2013 race director

In the role of event director, both me and ADFA’s orienteering club are glad to invite you to Portugal “O” Meeting 2013, which includes a World Ranking Event (WRE) race in the 3rd day of competition.

The choice regarding the best area for POM 2013 was natural. Apart from the excellent relationship between ADFA orienteering and Idanha-a-Nova’s municipally, developed in the organization of previous events, the region offers high quality terrains, which shall be pleasant to which one of you.

Idanha-a-Nova’s region also offers a huge variety of touristic and gastronomic choices, of which the village of Monsanto stands up, as being the oldest village in Portugal.

These are reasons why both me and ADFA’s orienteering team are eagerly waiting for your presence in our event. We promise full commitment in order to be up to standards.

The Event’s Director,
Mário Duarte
